Include a description that includes subject matter, preferred size, and any other comments that help me understand why you're making this request. Is this artwork a surprise gift? Do you have a deadline?
I request a 25% nonrefundable advance on payment to cover initial expenses and material fees. The balance is due upon completion and prior to shipping.
A photo release will be required of all images used and from all people in the photo. Please provide photos with as much detail as possible. Please note any request for additions to or adjustments in reference photos needs to be included from the beginning. Your satisfaction means a lot to me, so I will check in with you once or twice along the way. All communication will be via email or text, whichever you prefer.
Invoice and Authentication Certificate
Invoice and Authentication Certificate will be delivered together with the artwork.
US copyright law provides for artists to retain legal rights to their artwork. As owner of the copyright, I may use the image on social media, in my portfolio, on products and in advertising, as well as in exhibitions. In the case where a photo is a private family photo of you, your family, or your home and you would prefer I don't share it publicly, you must make that request for privacy at the time of the commission.
Please provide an original photo in the highest resolution possible. The better the resolution on the reference photo, the more details I can include in order to make it a realistic drawing.
I use archival quality materials, meaning your drawing will last for years to come.
Shipping is not included and will be an additional charge, along with the charges for insurance and tracking. UPS is my preferred shipping vendor.
I take my artwork seriously and do not rush the process for deadlines. I will give you a timeline estimate when you sign the contract. Artwork sometimes is finished ahead of time. The Timeline does not include time for shipping and handling.
